Sudan

A Nation in Crisis

Sudan is facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, driven by a brutal civil conflict that erupted in April 2023. The violence has forced over 8.1 million people to flee their homes, making it one of the largest displacement crises globally. More than 25 million people—over half of the country's population—now require humanitarian assistance. Access to food, clean water, and medical care has become critically limited, with nearly 18 million people facing acute food insecurity, and over 70% of healthcare facilities in conflict-affected areas non-functional or inaccessible. Ongoing fighting, economic collapse, and infrastructure breakdown have left millions vulnerable, especially women, children, and the elderly.

Our Response

Our team is currently in Sudan, providing:

  • Emergency aid
  • Food support and other essential supplies
  • Healthcare services

We are actively responding to the crisis in Sudan by delivering life-saving emergency aid to displaced families and those caught in the crossfire. Our food support programs are focused on distributing staple goods and nutrition packs to those at risk of starvation. We also provide critical supplies to help communities survive and maintain dignity in the midst of chaos. In areas where health systems have collapsed, we are supporting access to healthcare. In the face of overwhelming need, our mission is to bring hope, healing, and tangible help to those who need it most.
