Pakistan
A Country Battling Religious Persecution and Conflict
Pakistan faces significant humanitarian challenges, driven by ongoing conflicts, economic instability, and widespread poverty. Over 3.5 million people are displaced due to internal conflicts, particularly in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan regions. The country also struggles with food insecurity, with approximately 50 million people lacking reliable access to adequate nutrition. Religious minorities, particularly Christians and Hindus, face growing persecution in Pakistan. Attacks on churches, forced conversions, and violence against religious minorities are common, with Christians often targeted by extremist groups, leading to a mass exodus from some regions.
