Christians in Iran, particularly those from Muslim backgrounds, are subject to severe persecution, including imprisonment, harassment, and the closure of churches. The Iranian government continues to suppress religious freedoms, with Christian communities facing increasing threats from extremist factions. As a result, many Christians have fled the country, seeking asylum in neighboring regions or beyond.
