Syria: Bringing Hope to Syria’s Christian Women Through Sewing Training

In the midst of ongoing hardship and recovery from years of conflict, Christians in northern Syria face immense challenges every day. Many families are struggling to provide for themselves, and countless women—widows who lost their husbands during the Syrian Civil War—carry the weight of supporting their families alone.

We are committed to bringing practical solutions that empower communities and restore hope. Our latest initiative in North Aleppo focuses on training and equipping Christian women with the skills and tools to build sustainable livelihoods through sewing.

Each month, we will train 35 women, providing them with sewing machines, materials, and hands-on instruction so they can start their own businesses. This program does more than teach a skill, it restores dignity, strengthens families, and brings a sense of purpose to women who have endured unimaginable loss.

Over the next four months, we expect to empower approximately 2,000 Christians in the region through this project. By helping these women build small businesses, we are not only providing income for their families but also creating a ripple effect of stability and hope throughout the community.

This sewing project is a reminder that even in the hardest places, a little support and guidance can go a long way. Every stitch these women make represents resilience, courage, and the promise of a better future.

We are grateful for the generosity of our supporters, whose contributions make projects like this possible. Together, we can continue to bring hope to Christians facing persecution and hardship around the world.
