May was a month of growth, not only in crops and clinics, but in dignity, courage, and the self-sustaining strength of the local leaders and communities we serve. These stories are just a glimpse into the beautiful, resilient lives being transformed through your support. From the war-torn hills of Syria to the farmlands of Egypt, from the refugee children of Armenia to the nursing students of Kenya — your generosity is making a real, measurable difference.

Here are the updates from what TBP was up to in the field throughout May:

ARMENIA

Over 50 displaced Christian children from Karabakh are receiving drug prevention education and structured support.

As drug use continues to rise in impoverished communities facing economic crisis, our team in Armenia is proactively stepping in. By running targeted drug awareness programs and engaging activities, we’re not just educating — we’re protecting a generation of vulnerable kids from falling prey to addiction. This work is a critical line of defense, especially in a post-conflict environment where stability is hard to find.

EGYPT

Tens of tons of wheat have been harvested and will be distributed to over 2,000 Christian villagers.

But the impact goes deeper. The project employs 45 local farmers, who will receive a portion of the wheat to be sold at market — allowing them to provide for their 350 family members. Altogether, this one field is feeding and sustaining over 2,350 individuals. It’s a powerful picture of how local investment can lead to long-term transformation.

IRAQ

We began cultivating the returned lands of the 30 Christian farmers, providing seeds, tools, and agricultural expertise to support immediate planting and prepare the soil for 3 to 4 more years of harvests.

This cultivation project enables families to reestablish sustainable livelihoods after years of loss. With over 1,200 people now benefiting, the initiative is about more than reclaiming soil — it’s about reclaiming dignity, independence, and the promise of a better future.

KENYA

Our 7-hectare farm is thriving, feeding over 150 students and building a foundation for long-term food sustainability.

In Osingo North Village, our farm is overflowing with maize, beans, cassava, sweet potatoes, avocados, bananas, and more. The anticipated harvest includes 40 sacks of maize and 15 sacks of beans—enough to feed Green Peak Academy and support Excel Academy as well. These crops are more than meals; they are proof of the power of planning, partnership, and perseverance.

Five nursing students from vulnerable families are excelling in their education with our support.

Our team visited Leah, Vivian, Susan, Vanessa, and Edwin at Trans-Mara Kenya Medical Training College. These future nurses are being trained in maternal health, emergency care, and public health. Already, they’re thriving in clinical placements, showing promise as community health advocates. Their education is paving the way for better health in the underserved, surrounding regions.

55 at-risk students are receiving essential educational support in The Mara region.

This initiative is lifting young students out of generational poverty by giving them access to education, nutrition, and mentorship. Each life changed represents a ripple effect of hope in the wider community.

LEBANON

Our medical clinic has turned into a full blown medical facility, treating over 100 patients weekly through pharmacy services, lab tests, dental care, and specialist visits.

In an area of Christians facing dire need of medical care, our team has stepped up and is serving those who need help the most.

We are also continuing to support 50 elderly, displaced Christians with medications and regular doctor visits.

These individuals, many suffering from diabetes and heart conditions, are among the most vulnerable. Our program ensures they receive the attention and treatment they need—restoring dignity and health in their later years.

SYRIA

35 Christian families in Ta Abyad are learning to raise bees and produce honey as a sustainable livelihood.

Our honey farm project is not only a source of food—it’s a business. In a region still suffering from conflict, these villagers are being equipped with the tools and training to produce and sell honey. It’s a creative, low-cost, high-impact solution for economic stability.

These aren’t just updates — they are testimonies of transformation. In every field planted, every student supported, and every patient cared for, you’ll find the fingerprints of compassion, perseverance, and faith.
