In late August 2025, The Blessing Projects team in Kenya launched an agricultural assistance initiative across parts of Migori County, Narok County, and Kajiado County, equipping vulnerable farmers with the resources needed to restore their livelihoods.
Through this effort, 80 farmers received 250 kilograms of seeds and 850 kilograms of fertilizer, enabling them to plant and cultivate crops despite ongoing financial and environmental challenges that often limit access to basic agricultural inputs.
Five months later, the first signs of impact are becoming visible.
We are encouraged to share that maize harvesting has officially begun. So far, participating farmers have harvested 86 bags of maize (90 kilograms each), an important milestone that reflects both their hard work and the effectiveness of the support provided.
As the harvest continues, projections indicate the total yield could exceed 150 bags, significantly improving food security for families while creating opportunities to generate income through local markets.
For many of these farmers, agriculture is not just a source of income, it is the foundation of household stability. Access to quality seeds and fertilizer can mean the difference between scarcity and provision, especially in communities where smallholder farming sustains entire families.
This project represents more than a single harvest. It is an investment in resilience, equipping farmers with the tools to feed their households, support their communities, and prepare for future growing seasons with greater confidence.
As harvesting continues, TBP will monitor progress and share further updates on crop yields and community impact. Early results already demonstrate how targeted agricultural support can create lasting change, turning vulnerability into opportunity and effort into provision.
Through initiatives like this, The Blessing Projects remains committed to walking alongside rural communities, strengthening livelihoods, and cultivating hope one harvest at a time.
