We've kicked off the year with heartfelt purpose, working on impactful projects around the globe, and we’re immensely excited to share the details with you.

Here’s what we’ve been up to in January—

KENYA

We've been collaborating with Green Peak Academy, an educational institution serving over 100 students up to fifth grade.

Our support helps fund the sponsorship of education for vulnerable students, ensuring they receive essential resources like school uniforms, books, and tuition — lightening the financial burden on their families.

What makes Green Peak Academy stand out is its remarkable commitment to inclusivity and bridging critical gaps in education access. It serves as a model for other institutions striving to empower disadvantaged communities.

We’re incredibly proud of our team in Kenya for their dedication to working alongside Green Peak Academy to uplift and support young students facing adversity.

Speaking of vulnerable students, we've also been giving critical support to a man named Francis Makenzie, who's had to raise his daughter's twin daughters at an elderly age.

In Kenya, there's cultural superstition around twins, deeming them a bad omen. Despite his age and failing health, he defied societal pressures, rejecting harmful traditions to protect his grandchildren and raise them.

We've provided them with food, clothing, and funding for the children’s education at Green Peak Academy. This assistance has given the family the stability and hope they desperately needed to break the cycle of poverty.

NIGERIA

We've been helping to fund the Empower Our Girls initiative in Nigeria.

The Empower Our Girls initiative was created to support young women in Northern Nigeria who have been displaced, traumatized, and stripped of opportunities due to ongoing persecution. In communities like Plateau and Kaduna’s Irigwe region, thousands of girls have lost access to education and the chance to build a secure future.

This initiative is about more than just aid — it’s about restoring dignity, independence, and hope.

With funding from The Blessing Projects, real change is gaining traction. We’ve provided eight sewing machines and start-up funds to vulnerable girls, giving them the tools to build their own tailoring businesses. With hands-on training and essential resources, these young women are stepping into financial independence, breaking cycles of poverty, and reclaiming their futures. This is what empowerment looks like — creating lasting impact, one life at a time.

SAMBURU LAND / KENYA

We received these beautiful photos from our project manager, Olivia, who leads the Samburu Isiolo Sustainable Agriculture Programme (SISAP).

The images below showcase the sustainable agricultural project focused on growing and harvesting drought-resistant, fortified beans. Packed with iron and zinc, these beans provide essential nutrition for women and children. Best of all, they’re ready to harvest just 45 days after planting.

A key goal of this initiative is to equip farmers with the skills to grow resilient crops, ensuring food security no matter the challenges of the growing season.

Additionally, they've been training on sustainable beekeeping.

They also recently visited kitchen gardens run by local women to explore opportunities for further growth.

UGANDA

The Blessing Projects has provided education and food for forty orphaned boys in Uganda, who lost their parents to the Lord’s Resistance Army.

By ensuring they have access to nourishment and learning, we hope to empower them with the foundation for a brighter, more secure future.

ARMENIA

Our Armenian educational program is proud to now support over 100 children who have been displaced from Karabakh, a region deeply affected by the hardships of war.

Heartwarming photo updates like this one remind us of the impact of our efforts and fill our hearts with gratitude.

LEBANON

The Blessing Projects team has been supporting 55 families, around 200 individuals, from three Christian villages in South Lebanon by opening a small kitchen in the safe house we provided for them.

With daily ingredients supplied by our team, the families volunteered alongside us to prepare and serve meals for everyone in the shelter.

This initiative not only provides nourishment but also fosters a sense of community and resilience during a challenging time.

We've also provided 3,500 liters of diesel to support around 40 families — roughly 180 individuals — helping them stay warm in the monasteries where they’ve taken refuge due to the last war.

IRAQ

The Archbishop of Northern Iraq, alongside the head of the Assyrian Church in Iraq, blessed and officially inaugurated our school — a sanctuary of learning for 70 to 110 young students who were on the brink of losing their academic year due to the devastating Turkish raids and bombardments in the region.

LEVANT REGION

We received a photo update from our team on the ground in the MENA region, as they've been implementing a new water system for agricultural fields within the Levant Region.

We’ve also received photo updates from our bakery in the Levant region.

This initiative not only helps fund school tuition for local children but also supports the broader growth and well-being of the community.

EGYPT

We've been cultivating land to grow wheat in support of Egyptian Christian farmers.

Once harvested, half of the yield will go to the landowner, while the other half will be distributed to impoverished Christian communities in the surrounding towns, providing much-needed sustenance and support.
